New schedule, new life. I work when no one else is awake. Aside from it being very easy to become distracted (especially doom-scrolling), I am able to watch the random bloody nuggets of horror I have been putting off. The first is Autopsy (2008) with Robert Patrick.

The stereotypical annoying group of young adults — okay, they all have redeeming qualities…the writers have to give all of them something to make you feel guilty for wanting them to die, save maybe that one ‘pure’ friend — tearing it up for an unsuspecting last time at Mardi Gras before they have to become actual adults. Of course, Ms. Pure (Emily, played by Jessica Lowndes) is put in that uncomfortable situation where she has to put her morals to the test and ultimately fails, getting them into dire straits.

Emily and her intrepid group hit an unsuspecting drugged-up patient/victim in the middle of a deserted, conveniently lit, back-country road. The…
