A Standard Against Our Foes

“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19)”

God promises protection to those who fear him and who would rather offend their enemies than offend the Almighty.

When my life orbits around God, then I do not have to fear what adversities may come up against me for the LORD is my defense (and who can challenge the Almighty and win?).
