Being Thankful…

Not sure who wrote this Psalm (King David, Moses, Asaph or perhaps Solomon‽) but it reflects how I should approach God as I journey through life.

A Psalm of praise.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalms 100:1–5)

Being thankful for the blessings of God (irregardless of my current situation or emotions) is key towards enjoying life.

After all, it’s God’s blessings that not only help keep me sane during this crazy era living in the USA but also give me hope for the future as well.
