Doers Of The Law

In this “Christian age” of “love, grace & peace,” I sometimes forget (or rather choose to forget) that I am still accountable to the laws of God.

Yes, God extends grace beyond what I deserve (in spite of my willful ignorance), but God also expects me to follow his laws–not only in public life but also in my private life as well.

After all God’s laws do not exist to be merely adorned by the “do gooder” masses, but to guide me towards a better life on Earth (as well as beyond).

“For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. (Romans 2:12–13)”
