The path towards holiness is paved with…abuse?

Living in America I can vouch that the most “abuse” that I’ve ever received for merely admitting that I am a disciple of Christ is ridicule.

Compared to other friends who have been threatened with death, assaulted or lost significant financial resources for being discovered a Christian I’m living the high life.

But that fact alone makes me wonder…am I really living a godly life or am I merely coasting?
