When God Answers Bad Prayers

Apparently God will grant the requests of prayers we do not need…but there is a catch.

13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. (Psalms 106:13 – 15)

How easy it is for me to forget what God had done for my life and in a moment of weakness become impatient about future promises from the Almighty.

God is willing to grant prayer requests – even bad ones – but the cost will be disappointment & dissatisfaction as well as missing out on a future blessing.

Instead of being impatient with His promises I need to learn to wait upon His will & perfect timing.
