Why I Invested $96 In A Promise Called “The Grid”

Designing websites is fun — updating and maintaining websites not so much.

That perfectly explains my love/hate relationship with CMS cites like WordPress, Squarespace, et al.

While crafting the perfect layout for a personal site is fun, constantly updating its look can be distracting (which is probably why many people hire full time designers).

Instead of spending hours delving though the code, why not outsource that hassle to a robot called The Grid (note: referral link) instead‽

So far I have invested $96 based upon a future promise, one that may never materialize.

But if the guys behind The Grid are as skilled as the hype within promo video claims, then they will not just make maintaining websites easier for me, but also help usher in a whole new category of automated design across the World Wide Web.
