Wisdom Before Beauty

A wise man once said…

“As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion. (King Solomon, Proverbs 11:22)”

I guess this is Solomon’s way of saying “avoid ditzy girls” (the same is true in reverse for the ladies).

Instead of measuring someone by how they look, it’s better to measure them based upon how much wisdom they’ve attained.

“A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. (King Solomon, Proverbs 12:8)”
