Another morning with crappy surf in Santa Monica

The surf in Santa Monica this morning pretty much matched my low expectations — walled up and completely closed out. There was a weird backwash as well that caused the waves to almost implode on themselves as they hit the shallows. Barely could catch anything worthwhile.
