La semana pasada presentamos nuestro segundo episodio de Work Smarter, Hot Harder en el Twitter Space de Darshana gracias a LasDeSistemas .
Tuvimos un panel brillante con la autora Julieta Schulkin @chulkinet , la community lead de Mujeres En Crypto, Nicki @Nickicrypto15, y nuestras host Annalisa Caballero @crypto_mujeres y Natalie Gil @ratalie .
Este espacio fue muy especial ya que lo hicimos completamente en castellano, y obtuvimos una gran respuesta del público hispanohablante con más de 30 personas escuchando y subiendo al estrado a hacernos preguntas.
Conversamos acerca de las ofertas laborales en Web3 en LATAM y las grandes diferencias entre las entrevistas de trabajo entre Web2 y Web3.

● ¿Cómo utilizar blockchain para combatir la corrupción? @cryptoamigosLAT esta realizando un Hackathon para lanzar proyectos de open-source contra la corrupción en Perú y América Latina.
● Adopción exponencial de Blockchain en América Latina. Todos los protocolos de blockchain se están expandiendo a LATAM. Este año se realizó ETHRio y muy pronto ETHLatam. Los países con más adopción de crypto son Argentina, Brazil, Colombia y Perú.

● ¿Cómo postular a trabajos de Web3 en comparación de Web2?
Mientras más colabores en proyectos de Web3 más te haces un nombre. Por ejemplo, los moderadores de Discord, son las personas que más contribuyeron en el discord y luego se les ofreció un trabajo pagado. Los Community managers son personas que construyeron un marca personal redes sociales y luego los llamaron para diferente proyectos pagados. Los developers son los mas escasos y más pedidos, aquí ya estás en ventaja.
LinkedIn está en un boom con el trend Web3 y basta con poner un keyword para que reclutadores te llamen. Eso quiere decir que las Agencias de Marketing Digital están formando un equipo para marketing digital en Web3.
Reflexiones:
● La colaboración es un MUST en Web3.
● Sensación de Star-Up, esta industria está al comienzo del comienzo.
● Nadie se gana un puesto gratuitamente, tiene que haber proof of work. No es necesario un CV.
● Pros: entras temprano a una industria, trabajos remotos, pagos en USD, puedes negociar tu salario con % de la empresa, pagos en cryptos. Cons: cambia constantemente.

Last week we hosted our second episode of Work Smarter, Hot Harder on Darshana’s Twitter Space. We had a brilliant panel with author Julieta Schulkin @chulkinet, Mujeres en Crypto Nicki @Nickicrypto15 and our hosts Annalisa Caballero @crypto_mujeres and Natalie Gil @ratalie.
This space was very special since we did it completely in Spanish, and got a great response from the Spanish-speaking community with more than 30 people listening and coming up to the podium to ask us questions.
We talked about Web3 job offers in LATAM and the biggest differences between job interviews between Web2 and Web3.

● How to apply for Web3 jobs in comparison to Web2?
The more you collaborate on Web3 projects, the more you make a name for yourself. For example, Discord’s moderators are the people who contributed the most to the discord channel and were then offered a paid job. Community managers are people who build a personal brand on social networks and then were called for different paid projects. Developers are the rarest and most requested talent, so here you are already at an advantage.
LinkedIn is booming with Web3' trends and it’s enough to write a keyword for recruiters to call you. That means that Digital Marketing Agencies are forming a team for Web3 Digital Marketers.
Reflections:
● Collaboration is a MUST in Web3.
● Star-Up feeling, this industry is at the beginning of the beginning.
● No one gets a job for free, there must be proof of work. A resume is not longer necessary.
● Pros: Entering an industry early, remote jobs, payments in USD, equity, payments in cryptos. Cons: constantly changes.
