Crab Crowdloan Rewards Initial Distribution
Supporters! We’ve distributed the 10% CRAB and CKTON rewards of the Crab Kusama Slot Auction. We‘ve won the 22nd Kusama parachain slot, and now we‘ve connected to Kusama as a parachain. Thanks for contributing to Crab Network!
10% of Crowdloan Rewards Pool Available Immediately
This initial distribution includes 10% of CRAB/CKTON rewards (10% of the 200,000,000 CRAB and 8,000 CKTON rewards pool) to contributors immediately. These funds have already been distributed to the Crab addresses provided during the crowdloan contribution process. There is nothing you need to do to receive the funds, but you may need to ensure your wallet is switched to the Crab network in order to see that balance. You can also confirm receipt of these tokens via Subscan. And the remaining 90% will be linearly distributed over the 48 week lease period.
NOTE: Rewards showing on your contribution dashboard are final.
FAQ
Do I need to claim my tokens (CRAB+CKTON)?
No. The CRAB and CKTON rewards will be distributed to the Substrate-Based Crab Chain address associated with the Kusama address you used to contribute. In other words, you also don’t need to create a Crab account to receive your tokens. But you need to open up polkadot{.js} and switch to the Crab network to check your balance.
How to earn more CRAB rewards?
After you get your rewards, you can earn more CRAB by becoming a nominator. For more details about nominators, please refer to Polkadot wiki. About how to become a nominator, there will be a tutorial soon.

Crab is a canary network with real economic value for Darwinia, and its positioning is similar to Polkadot’s Kusama Network. Crab Network has won the 22nd Kusama parachain slot! You can check Crab status through Polkadot{.js} , Subscan or Subview.
Crab provides smart contract solutions based on DVM (Darwinia Virtual Machine), which is compatible with the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) paradigm. Therefore, it is easy for projects in the Ethereum ecosystem to migrate to the Crab Smart Chain. (Tips: DVM is built on Frontier with a fully EVM-compatible instruction set and an Ethereum RPC-like external interface.)
