Darwinia and MEXC Partnership to Support $RING Deposit/Withdrawal on Darwinia Smart Chain

Dear Community

In order to provide a better experience for users, Darwinia cooperation with MEXC, and MEXC has added the new RING deposit and withdrawal service based on Darwinia Smart Chain.

Connect MetaMask To Darwinia Smart Chain

1. Add the RPC automatically

Go to https://docs.darwinia.network/ and click the “Connect Wallet” on the right upper corner, then you can see the RPC configuration parameters of Darwinia Smart Chain, click and then the corresponding network RPC will be added automatically.

2. Add the RPC manually

This part will guide you through the process of connecting your MetaMask wallet to Darwinia Smart Chain.

If you do not already have MetaMask installed, you can install the extension from the Chrome store. For help with installation, you can follow the Getting Started with MetaMask guide from the official MetaMask documentation. Once you have installed the MetaMask extension, follow the account creation wizard. Make sure to store your mnemonic safely and do not share it with anyone. When MetaMask is fully set up, you’ll have your Darwinia Smart Chain address displayed at the top of the extension window.

Once you have an account, you can add Darwinia Smart Chain as a network and connect to it by clicking on the network dropdown and selecting “Add Network”.

To add Darwinia Smart Chain, you can enter configurations below:

Network Name: Darwinia Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://rpc.darwinia.network
Chain ID: 46
Currency Symbol(Optional): RING
Block Explorer URL(Optional): https://darwinia.subscan.io/

Then click “Save” to connect to Darwinia Smart Chain.

That’s it! You’ve successfully added Darwinia Smart Chain as a network to MetaMask and connected to it!

1. How to understand the Darwinia Smart Chain?

There are three types chains in the Darwinia Network, namely Darwinia Chain, Darwinia Smart Chain, and Darwinia Parachain. For more information, please refer to: https://docs.darwinia.network/chains/Introduction

2. What can I do after withdrawing RING to Darwinia Smart Chain via MEXC?

  • Transfer RING on Darwinia Smart Chain to Darwinia Chain via Darwinia Apps or Helix, then stake RING tokens and earn staking rewards.
  • Participate in the ecosystem of Darwinia Network.

3. How to transfer RING between Darwinia Chain and Darwinia Smart Chain?

Darwinia Smart Chain > Darwinia Chain

Method 1: Transfer RING from Darwinia Smart Chain to Darwinia Chain via Darwinia Apps.

Method 2: Transfer RING from Darwinia Smart Chainto Darwinia Chainvia Helix.

For more tutorials on Helix, please refer to Cross Chain Asset Transfer | Helix Docs

Darwinia Chain > Darwinia Smart Chain

Method 1: Transfer RING from Darwinia Chain to Darwinia Smart Chain via Darwinia Apps.

Method 2: Transfer RING from Darwinia Chainto Darwinia Chainvia Helix.

About Darwinia Network

GitHub | Website | Medium | Twitter | Telegram

Darwinia is a cross-chain messaging infrastructure, which provides a light client-based, programmable, universal cross-chain messaging network for decentralized applications. Now, we’ve successfully used Darwinia’s light-client cross-chain messaging protocol(LCMP) to bridge cross-chain messages between substrate-based chains, and even between substrate-based chains and EVM chains, meanwhile, Darwinia provides developers with an SDK, so they can easily integrate cross-chain capabilities into their Dapps. This will have profound implications for cross-chain interoperability, and Darwinia as a cross-chain messaging infrastructure will facilitate the building of a hybrid cross-chain network for Polkadot.
