The film Taken is about a former CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) who is trying to reconnect with his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). Things take a twist pretty quickly when Kim and her friend go to Paris and get abducted by sex traffickers. Bryan has to rely on his old skills to try and find his daughter within four days before she is auctioned off. This thriller/action movie is one that will keep you on your toes and send shivers down your spine.

Neeson is well known for this film and many others and his acting when it comes to action movies. He is normally cast in movies as a father figure or agent/ex-agent in unusual situations. Neeson is a well-liked actor when it comes to these kinds of movies especially in this movie for his well known one-liner,

“I will find you, and I will kill you”

I even can attest to this, but whenever I see that Neeson is one of the main characters in a film, I am more likely to watch it; he just really knows how to make a movie better.

One thing that really makes the movie more interesting is the music that was put into this film. It has the action, edgy style to it that really adds to it. Although the film itself is great, it would not be the same with the sounds and music that it has added to give the film more of a thrill to feel the situation

Taken will always be a must see on my list. The anticipation and thrill of what is going to happen next is almost too much to handle, but I love it. It is so much more than an average action movie, and the most thrilling part of it is the fact that it happens in real life. It’s also a lesson to the viewers, so not only are you entertained but you also take something very important away from it.
