Ein Sonntagmorgen in Deutschland – A sunday morning in germany

Still ist’s auf der Strasse, auch im Haus rührt sich noch keiner

Ein Moped knattert durch das Viertel, der Motor sollte mal kontrolliert werden

Grässlich früh wach geworden, nochmal umdrehen und eindösen

Radio an, wie wird das Wetter heute, Radio aus

Die Nachbarin läuft laut die Treppe runter, ungewöhnlich früh

Doch jetzt aufstehen, Sonnenschein ausnutzen

Vor der Haustür tief Luft holen, endlich wieder frische kühle Luft

Der Regen der Nacht hat sich verzogen, die Strassen sind noch feucht

Alleine auf der Strasse, zu früh für viele

Gehe über Strassen, nicht über Bürgersteige, sieht ja keiner

Sehe Strassenabsperrung und drei Menschen kommen mir entgegen, ach ja, es ist Trödelmarkt auf dem Obi-Parkplatz

Noch zu früh für Menschenmassen, kommt noch

Im Cafe angekommen, noch leer, Lieblingsplatz frei

Ok, Laptop an, Internet läuft, los geht’s

Keine News, kein Twitter, nur Google+ Einladungen beantworten, bisschen googeln, Online relaxing nenne ich das mal

A sunday morning in germany

It is quiet on the street, nobody is moving inside the house

A motorcycle rattles through the quarter, check the engine, mate

Too early to wake up, turning around and dozing off again

Radio on, how is the weather today, radio off

My neighbor loudly runs the stairway down, unusual early

Out of bed now, need to feel the sunshine

Deep breath at the frontdoor, at last fresh and cool air again

The night rain is gone, the streets still wet

Alone on the street, too early for many

Walking on the streets, not on boardwalks, nobody is seeing it

See the road blocks, three people are coming my way, oh yes, there is the monthly flea market at the Obi parking lot

Way too early for the crowds, soon coming

Arriving at the cafe, still empty, favourite place free

Ok, laptopp on, internet is running, let’s start

No news, no twitter, only google+ answering invitations, i call it online relaxing

Calm is the town, calm is the web, calm inside me, just a normal sunday morning
