Can life be interesting, exciting when robots do everything?
Question from the Internet:
“Will life in general still be interesting when every activity has been done by robots?”
It depends only on us. It is true that for the moment we consider life a series of activities, chasing different physical, material fulfillment and this is what the consumerist society also caters.
But the essence of human life has nothing to do with physical activities. The essence of our humanity, our true source of fulfillment and happiness can be found only through the right, positive, mutually supporting, mutually fulfilling connections with other people and a similar connection to Nature.
And for this, we need almost no physical activity at all.
So even if we reach a stage where most physical work to produce our healthy, natural necessities can be done by robots, machines, we can make life absolutely interesting, exciting, and highly fulfilling by focusing on building the unique, positive interconnections between us until the whole of humanity becomes a single network as Nature’s evolution is obligating us.
And since we have to build such connections above and against our inherently self-centered, self-justifying, individualistic nature, the constant excitement is guaranteed!
