SSAS Cube in the Cloud

These days we hear so much about putting all our services in the cloud
For my main job i’m working on an reporting application, that is web-based but our analysis reports are with Excel with an SSAS Cube

So we were thinking to offer our product as a service to clients instead as an application.

Reporting is already web-based so that’s not a problem. But SSAS and Excel…
Well that’s why I’v been looking for a way to connect to SSAS thru HTTP
And I found a nice blogpost

So know we can connect to our cubes with excel over the http protocol :)
