These days, our daily lives are highly dependent on the “transport system” that is available nearby. Therefore, I’m interested in the discrepancy between Morningside heights and central Harlem. Even though they are distanced by less than a kilometer(3000feet), the places that can be reached from there are very different.

Concept

This is an important topic because accessibility to transport systems determines the accessibility to infrastructures like hospitals and markets.

Area that can reached in 10 mins by subway and walking

By understanding the difference between those two populations, we can propose where should new infrastructure should be.
