Trying out DALLE with OpenAI

If you can create generated art with OpenAI DALLE? What would you create? We attended a talk about DALLE at OpenAI San Francisco office and got our hands on the real DALLE. We were so impressed. We went through the monthly first free 50 credits quickly. We even chipped in $15 dollars twice to buy 150 credits to continue generating art. That’s right! We went through 350 credits on DALLE. How? It was fascinating to generate art with DALLE. It was easy. You want to try many variations of similar prompts, with slight modifications, so the credits went quickly. It is such a good deal though: for just $30 dollars, we quickly iterated through 350 ideas. No prior training required. Our artistic skills are dismal to start with. What do you suggest we try next? The tech talks at OpenAI was fascinating. OpenAI hosted a special evening encouraging local female developers to learn more about OpenAI, deep learning, research and apprenticeship (called the residency program) at OpenAI, and the challenges of creating models like DALLE, and how to best use prompts to get desired generated art / results. We took notes of interesting insights about GPT-3, DALLE, the OpenAI team and their residency program. Cannot wait to share in our newsletter.
