Veo 2 is Google’s state-of-the-art video generation model that is able to create high quality videos up to 4k with real-world physics and human motion. As mentioned in my Google Cloud Next 2025 blog post, Veo 2 was among the top highlights at Cloud Next 2025: from the Google + Sphere experience, Next keynote, Developer Keynote to a dedicated Veo 2 Studio at the Expo Hall.
I was fortunate to be an early tester for Veo 2 in the Gemini App, VideoFX, Whisk Animate and Google Cloud. You can create with Veo 2 whether you are a creative finding inspiration, a developer building apps or enterprise looking for production-grade solutions.

Gemini App
The Gemini App is a consumer app with Google’s GenAI models. Currently creating with Veo 2 in the Gemini app relies mainly on the chatbot interaction: text-to-video generation only.
In the Gemini App, select “Veo 2” from the model dropdown menu, simply type a prompt, click on Generate and you will get an 8 seconds video!
