Data Slice is a new Medium publication which features stories that are a bit different to the norm. Each article will take the form of clear, simple analysis of a dataset in order to give insight that is interesting and/or surprising. Part of my motivation for wanting to start this is to counteract the saturation in Data Science of ’10 top tips’ and ‘How to’ articles, by promoting the dissemination of novel facts. The purpose of this publication is to encourage readers to gain knowledge of various topics by investigating the data - Data Slice takes care of the analytical leg-work for you and gives you interesting facts supported by data and evidence.
