Want To Submit a Post to Data & Sports?

What We Accept
Apart from all the usual requirements (basically, to be under Medium’s premises and all the non-violence, non-disrespect ethical values), we’ll accept only posts related to sports and data.
Surprised? I bet you aren’t.
But it’s as simple as that. If someone submits a post about how both worlds interact and we find it easy to read, with proper grammar and interesting, it will be published.
Some ideas are:
- Using machine learning to create a sports betting system.
- Analyzing a team’s performance in any sport.
- Mathematical modeling applied to sports.
- Visualization posts about individual player performances.
Options are limitless.
How to Submit
The only rule to submit is that the post can’t be already published: it has to be a draft.
If you’ve already been accepted as one of our writers, then you can submit your draft straightaway from Medium. Otherwise, we’ve created the next Typeform anyone can fill.
Once filled, we’ll check your draft and reach out to tell you whether we decide to make you a writer for the publication or not.
Then, for all future posts, you’ll be able to directly submit the draft through Medium.
