When including code snippets, use Medium code blocks with syntax highlighting. Additionally, include a cover image that you have the right to use, or choose one from sources like Unsplash (please credit the photographer accordingly).
3. Credible references: Ensure that any claims, quotes, or acknowledgements in your article are supported by evidence and include links to the original sources. We value accurate and well-referenced information. Also cite other articles, blog pieces, or papers as needed.
4. Self-promotion: At the end of your article, you’re welcome to include a short text link to promote your newsletter, LinkedIn account, blog, or any other relevant platform. However, ensure that your self-promotion aligns with Medium’s recommendations for a call to action.
5. Affiliate disclosures: If your article includes affiliate links or product endorsements, ensure they are clearly disclosed either by adding “(affiliate link)” next to the link or by providing an affiliate declaration in the submission. Any undisclosed affiliate links will result in rejection.
6. Submission readiness: Before submitting your article, ensure that it is ready for publication. Take care of formatting, language issues, and spelling mistakes (tools like Quillbolt and Grammarly can assist you in this regard).
