Data Clinic believes strongly in sharing insights, tools, and research with the community. In addition to helping our nonprofit partners learn and grow through the effective use of data and technology, we hope our work will benefit the broader world of social impact organizations, communities, and individuals. Sharing our experiences through effective storytelling and data visualizations is a big part of that — which is why we’re looking for a Data Clinic data journalist intern!

As a Data Clinic data journalist intern, you would work closely with the team to enhance our external visibility through effective communication, visualization, and data storytelling. Specific deliverables might include project articles highlighting the partnership and its impact, original thought pieces related to open data and social impact, client presentations, and data visualizations to complement written content. The internship would provide an opportunity to apply data journalism and visualization techniques to real world problems to maximize impact. In addition, Data Clinic interns would have the opportunity to explore new skills and learn from other Two Sigma employees in informal mentorship settings.
