Holy Trinity — Salesforce, Mulesoft and Tableau

After acquiring MuleSoft for $6.5 billion in 2018, Salesforce signed a definitive agreement to acquire data visualisation company Tableau for $15.7 billion this morning. A Huge Win.

“We would have been more than happy to give them any currency they wanted, but ultimately they want our stock and, hey, I can’t blame them,” Marc Benioff says.
