DataKnowl now integrates a new multimodal CRM (V3) engine, with multiple operating configurations to better adapt to various business scenarios. The mode currently available is the Contact Manager mode, designed for organizing company contacts and managing interactions with customers.

But what exactly does that mean? We have all heard about CRM, the abbreviation for Customer Relationship Management. The “C” stands for “Customer”, the focus of your activities, without which your business would not exist and, for this reason, is right at the front. The “R” stands for “Relationship”, the golden bridge between you and your customers. Building good customer relationships is the key to success for customer satisfaction and subsequent customer retention. The “M” stands for “Management”, the management of the customer relationship.

Speaking about CRM and the benefits of using CRM software, many often tend to focus on how a CRM system can help in sales, in planning marketing campaigns, in offering excellent customer support, but forget its basic functionality: contact management. A key feature that, according to Software Advice, is requested by 88% of CRM users.

So, even only a customer name and a phone number are enough to use CRM as a simple contact management system. DataKnowl CRM, in the Contact Manager mode, will allow you to add and store contact information and edit or remove information easily and efficiently. Add a person and save a set of properties such as first name, last name, title, phone, email, website, address, organization, and a description; or you can add an organization. It is also possible to associate a person with an organization simply and quickly.

For each contact, you can add tags, handy for classifying, identifying contacts, and searching for them based on the tags inserted (e.g. customer, supplier, partner, etc.) and, if necessary, write a short description.

All saved contacts will be present in the Contacts View. Search for a contact simply by entering in the search box the contact’s name (or part of the name). You can perform actions on a contact: view, edit, or delete.

A CRM system is a central place to store and manage all contacts’ data and keep them updated. Start creating your own CRM now by following this tutorial “Getting started with CRM”.
