Datareum is excited to announce our partnership with Assern, a leading Asia-focused market researcher. Assern has committed $20 million towards the purchase of DTN tokens to drive data collection for its advanced market research activities.

The award-winning Malaysia based full-service market research firm will use Datareum’s decentralized data marketplace to conduct market research. Assern intends to begin purchasing DTN starting in Q4 2018, using the tokens to pay data providers for their insights.

“We are excited with the potential offered by the Datareum network to improve the quality of the market research we conduct on behalf of our clients,” said Assern CEO John Dan. “Datareum’s decentralized platform should allow us to more precisely deploy surveys to the intended market segments, achieving more accurate insights in shorter time frames.”

Having just completed the crowd-sale phase of its fundraising campaign, Datareum is moving towards its alpha platform launch, scheduled for November 2018. “Our team has been hard at work building the necessary partnerships to ensure sufficient demand in our two-sided data marketplace. Adding Assern as our second partner after Worldlink is an important step for us,” said Datareum CEO Jorge Perez, referring to Datareum’s $9 million partnership with Worldlink announced in April of this year. “We expect further deals like this in the coming months as we build out the functionality of the platform.”
