So, the first day of my 30-day challenge has passed.

Phew 😔. Long journey ahead.

I’d celebrate if I had accomplished as much as I wanted to. But as they say, baby steps.

So, what did I do today?

Make plans!

To start off, I’ve been working on this project for a short while now — building a random word generator.

I reviewed the code today and discovered I still have a ways to go before I’m ready to mark the project “complete.”

Here’s what I need to:

Design a user interface

Figure out how the interface would look like

Run it as a web application

If I didn’t know a single thing about coding, I’d believe I could complete these tasks in a single day.

But yeah, reality strikes and I have some learning to do to make this project a success.

There you have it —My day 1 report.

At a glance, it might sound disappointing. My inner critic is telling me not to publish this. But If I do that, I’ll lose my consistency.

All I can do is get more done tomorrow and make up for today.

To be continued in Day 2
