A Thanksgiving Poem from DataVisor

The power to proactively defeat fraudsters BEFORE they cause downstream damage is something we can all be thankful for!

Here in California, we’re planning for a day off to celebrate and give thanks with friends, family, loved ones, and colleagues.

For the DataVisor team, it’s a rare respite from our ongoing work leveraging the world’s most transformative technologies to address one of the most important challenges of our time—preserving safety and security online.

We’re grateful to be engaged in this mission. As more of our essential activities are conducted online—everything from managing our finances to managing our healthcare—it’s absolutely paramount that these platforms can offer safe, secure, and seamless experiences. We’re here to ensure this happens across the entire digital ecosystem.

With technologies like unsupervised machine learning, it’s all possible. So as part of our Thanksgiving celebration, we’ve composed a short poem in praise of technology’s answer to the fraudster threat.

A Thanksgiving Poem

There once were some fraudsters who hacked
any vault where security lacked
the proactive trait
to block, at the gate,
their lightning-fast, agile attacks.

And the legend of said fraudsters grew,
and the size of their breaches did too.
On the dark web, they traded
and online, they raided,
And all wondered, what could they do?

Meanwhile, on Shoreline Boulevard
our team was working quite hard
on a new analyzer,
and soon, DataVisor
had virtually all the bad actors barred.

But the bot armies grew in great size,
obfuscated in digi disguise.
Still, with no need for labels,
our solution was able
to swat all the bots like flies.

So let us give thanks and celebrate
technology’s winning checkmate.
To unsupervised learning,
for proactively turning
every fraudster into an inmate!
