Leadership Training is estimated to be exceeding $20 billion and even reaching as high as $50 billion. This is only in the United States of America. However, the investment is not bearing any fruit. According to an Accenture data, only 8% of American executives felt that their company is developing new leaders. In addition, Institute of Corporate Productivity found that around 65% of the companies felt they were ineffective and ill-equipped to develop leaders.

The reason behind this could be the use of leadership metrics and measures which leads to the failure in delivering results when comes to leadership development. Companies are required to determine the outcomes of the investments in leadership training.
