Datawallet announces Partnership with The Veen Foundation at Liveen Conference
Collaboration between Datawallet and Liveen allows consumers to personalize their Liveen profile and power advertising networks directly with their data.
SEOUL, May 24, 2018 — Datawallet, a leading C2B blockchain-based data exchange, announced its partnership with the Veen Foundation, part of publicly listed Finotek Group. Datawallet allows internet users to pull online data from apps and websites into a self-sovereign wallet, which is owned and controlled by each user. Datawallet users can then decide to anonymously share this data with companies in return for compensation or services.
Liveen is a new blockchain based location sharing platform that aims to reward users for sharing their data and watching targeted ads. The rewards are based on the user’s reputation, which is different from the user’s data allowing a clear and transparent compensation standard via a credibility and rating system.
During a speech at the Liveen Conference hosted by the Veen Foundation at the InterContinental Grand Parnas Seoul, Datawallet CEO Serafin Lion Engel announced that Liveen users would be among the first to leverage its permission based and privacy preserving ad-tech infrastructure.
Datawallet’s technology allows advertisers to reach users based on explicitly permissioned data; users get the benefit of sharing in the profits of the ad sale, and the peace of mind that their identity is kept safe. Thus, everything is permission based, privacy preserving and data ownership assuring.
