New user driven advertising network to launch
NEW YORK, May 23, 2018 — Datawallet, a leading C2B blockchain-based data exchange, today announced its partnerships with DATA. Datawallet allows internet users to pull online data from apps and websites into a self-sovereign wallet, which is owned and controlled by each user. Datawallet users can then decide to anonymously share this data with companies in return for compensation or services.

With the partnership between DATA and Datawallet, the two companies announce their plan to collaborate on building a user driven advertising network. In the current adtech ecosystem, advertising platforms are powered by third party data, which is sourced without users’ expressive consent and therefore limited to publicly available and licensed data, resulting in subpar conversion rates. DATA and Datawallet’s vision is to allow users to power advertising exchanges with their own anonymized data. This model puts users in control, allowing users to decide which advertising platforms can have access to their data and empowering them to profit from the hundreds of billions of dollars currently made by companies selling this data about users without their consent. It gives advertising networks better data than anywhere else in the market and offer unrivaled data accuracy and match rates.
Datawallet will act as a multipurpose DMP in DATA’s ecosystem. With DATA’s attention authentication and reputation system, and Datawallet’s ethically sourced data that’s deterministically matched across multiple platforms — -social, e-commerce, media, etc. — -DATA will be able to provide unmatched ad efficiency and effectiveness.
