Introducing Our New Team Members

The Datawallet team has been steadily growing and we are excited to introduce all the all-stars that joined the Datawallet team over the past few months!

Thomas Martin, Vice President of Product

With extensive experience in product management and user facing QA, Thomas joined Datawallet as Vice President of Product. He is responsible for the Datawallet user application and helping devise user feedback structures. Prior to joining Datawallet, Thomas has worked as the Head of Product at noproblemo agency, working with clients such as L’Oreal and Universal Music. He previously also filled the role of COO at Appartner and was the lead product owner at KissKissBankBank.

Robert McLeod, Lead Blockchain Engineer

Robert started in the internet industry straight away working as a UI/UX designer and developer for the web since 1998. Since 2012 Robert has immersed himself in blockchain architecture and integration, becoming and expert in the field and he joined Datawallet as our new Lead Blockchain Engineer. He is also a seasoned entrepreneur having founded five companies in several different industries, which is exactly the spirit we are looking for, making him a great fit with the team. He previously worked as a lead blockchain architect at XAIN AG and B2B pay. Robert also founded Deximus with the goal to facilitate adoption of inter-ledger transactions for businesses and institutions through a standardized and “token” agnostic implementation of innovative multi-ledger blockchain technology.

Christo Olivier, Senior Data Engineer

Christo is a highly qualified Data and Analytics specialist with more than 12 years of consulting experience. He joined Datawallet as a Senior Data Engineer, helping us fine-tune all data related aspects of the Datawallet platform. Christo has helped clients navigate the challenges of building data solutions that meet business requirements while utilising the best technologies on the market. Due to his extensive experience in leading a variety of projects he can not only contribute with his technical abilities, but also support the Datawallet tech team with his strategic expertise.

Marco Süß, Full-Stack Engineer

Marco joined Datawallet as a Full-Stack Engineer, further boosting our tech team capabilities and development resources. With his extensive experience in all aspects of platform development he is another great fit for our Berlin based. Having worked as a Full-Stack Engineer in Mexico City the past two years, Marco was excited to return to his home country to make our visions of data ownership a reality.

Julien Falxa, Full-Stack Engineer

After getting his engineering Master’s Degree in France, while working as a web developer, Julien moved to Berlin where he worked at ad-tech startup Sociomantic Labs for 3 years. After that he worked as a freelancer with a variety of projects before deciding to join Datawallet as Full-Stack Engineer. Now Julien is helping develop the Datawallet user platform employing his full range of engineering skills.
