New Website, “Wallet Week”, Datawallet in South Korea & More
Dear Datawallet Community,
after a crazy busy time at Blockchain Week New York we are ready to kickoff our very own Datawallet “Wallet Week”. You may have seen us tease today’s date in the community channels over the past days, so let me now tell you what will happen from today onwards:
Datawallet‘s new website is live!
First, we just pushed live our new website. This marks the beginning of our road to the beta platform the team is working on tirelessly. The new website aims to make our value proposition more easily understandable for the different stakeholders of the Datawallet ecosystem. It has separate sections for users, enterprises, token holders and developers. We will still add some more things in going forward. Please read the below post for more details on what you will find on the website and what’s yet to come/will be populated in the coming weeks:

Datawallet launches inaugural “Wallet Week”
Our new website is an important starting point for what’s to come so we decided to launch our first ever “Wallet Week” — which will be jam packed with action and announcements. Our team is hard at work on the beta release of the Datawallet platform and we will be running a campaign up to that release. “Wallet Week” marks the initial kickoff with many more details to follow in the coming weeks. Datawallet CEO Serafin Engel to speak at Liveen conference in Seoul
Datawallet’s very own co-founder and CEO Serafin Engel will be speaking at the Liveen Conference in Seoul, South Korea this coming Thursday. We are very excited and honored to have been invited to speak alongside Finotek, IBM, Seogang University & more.

Datawallet to co-host meetup in Seoul with DATA on Friday, May 25th
We are very excited to be hosting our very first meetup in Korea together with our good friends from DATA. We had prolific conversations during Consensus 2018 as we share the same philosophy that data should belong to the users and not solely be used by big centralized companies. We also discussed potential partnerships in the near future and decided to co-host a meeting together. Details to location and time will follow soon.

Recap Consensus 2018 and Blockchain Week NYC
The past week part of Datawallet’s team attended Consensus 2018 in New York. Our CEO Serafin Engel presented Datawallet at the Blockchain Asia Meetup at the Kimmel Center NYU to start the week for our team. We had many interesting conversations among others with companies also looking to help empower the individual internet user, with blockchain experts, influencers and more.
