How to stop being desperate for a romantic relationship.
In person and online I have met many wonderful people who wish to be in a relationship with another person. They have so much to give, yet they find it difficult to connect, they see the problem as themselves, the people that they are pursuing, almighty fate.
That’s a-okay. I’ve been there, and also been on the opposite side of this dynamic, pining for people who never would even look at me, obsessing about interations that are barely there, and battling the desert of general Thirst.
It’s okay to be desperate. Desperate is an indication that you are ready to change. Desperate means that what you have isn’t working and it’s time for a workaround. With that spirit of change in mind, I’d like to share some information based on essays and questions I have gotten over the past 3 years about relationships.
Observation : It might seem obvious, but the start to cure relationship desperation is by dating and making new friends. Not everyone you date will become your significant other, but it will greatly increase your chances of finding someone who can be your love.
