1. Don’t text the girl for a confidence boost
One of the biggest reasons texting is such an issue for guys is because they feel the need to be texting the girl 24/7.
Why?
Because most men are insecure.
They lack the self-esteem and confidence with the girl they like, so any moment that passes without talking to the girl could be a sign that she doesn’t like him.
Simpery at it’s finest.
But it’s common, and I used to do it when I was young — that’s why I understand it so well.
If you’re an insecure man, every text you get is not only a dopamine boost caused by her, but also a weak attempt at getting validation from the girl.
This is why guys cling to texting so much.

Getting texts from a girl is validation that she’s interested in them and likes them just enough to respond.
And to the insecure young guy, that response is everything.
It makes or breaks his whole day.
Texting becomes his crutch.
You want to have other things in your life that bring you confidence and happiness so you’re not desperate for it in the women you chase.
2. Don’t read into her texts too much
For the love of God, please don’t count the minutes between each text, don’t analyze how many emojis she’s using, or what she REALLY means behind the text.
Bro, just cut that out.

9 times out of 10, it’s all in your head and she didn’t think twice about what she sent.
Just focus on keeping your momentum in the conversation until you can go for the date, and make sure you’re using the F.F.P. framework
Which brings me to my next point…
3. Use the FFP framework
The FFP framework — AKA keep the conversation Fun, Flirty, and Playful.
Texting has ONE purpose: To set up dates.
That’s it.
You can argue that it has another purpose of keeping your momentum up between dates, but either way, the point of building momentum is so she doesn’t forget about you and to get her excited to go on a date with you.
The end goal of momentum is still just to get on a date.

Think about how you text your homies.
You text to set up plans to hangout, and occasionally you’ll send each other something funny and relevant to what you’ve talked about in the past since it reminded you of it.
Go through your text history now, with your friends, and see the dynamic and flow.
You don’t do anything just because you feel like you have to, and it’s all motivated and driven with purpose.
Every interaction provides some value, whether it’s a laugh, setting up plans, or bringing up a funny memory, then once the moment is done and it reaches its natural end, the convo is done.
The same should be true of your text conversations with women, except they should probably be even more focused and dialed in in the beginning.
If I’m on a dating app, my goal is simple:
Send one killer opening line to get her attention and stand out from the crowd.
Usually, I comment on something from her profile, then once she responds, I’m going for the IG within 1–2 messages.
Because I know if I get her off the dating app and following me on IG, the chances of us meeting up and going on a date in the future just went up exponentially, as opposed to just chatting on the dating app for days and her eventually ghosting me and never hearing from her again.

4. Texting doesn’t need to take place in the traditional way
Messaging on IG or Snapchat can be more fun, spontaneous, and dynamic.
You just have way more room to interact in organic ways than through normal phone numbers.
But all the same rules apply, it doesn’t matter if it’s on a dating app, Insta DMs, Snapchat, or text.
All the concepts are the same.
