The DAV Foundation Announces Advanced Aircraft Company as first member of the DAV Alliance

TEL AVIV (22 January, 2018) — The DAV Foundation is pleased to announce Advanced Aircraft Company, based in Virginia, USA, has joined the DAV Alliance.

The DAV Alliance is a cooperative organization formed and led by the DAV Foundation. Its purpose is to bring together members of the autonomous vehicle industry so that they may collaborate on standards and innovations for DAV’s global AV network.

Noam Copel, CEO of the DAV Foundation said, “We warmly welcome the Advanced Aircraft Company to the DAV Alliance. Their advanced expertise in aeronautical engineering and their focus on VTOL [Vertical Take Off and Landing] and UAS [Unmanned Aerial Systems] fit very well within the DAV ecosystem. The Advanced Aircraft Company (AAC) is engaged in the design and production of advanced autonomous aerial vehicles meant for both commercial and military use. The AAC team is notable for its breadth and depth in aeronautical engineering and successful unique aircraft design innovations.
