Through Dayflash’s collab tools, JP and Oleg were able to easily reconnect — and form a new collaboration!

“JP and I met several years ago when I was photographing an event and he was there as a performer with the band. His moves really caught my eye and I approached him to take some photos of him dancing. We’ve kept in contact over the years, and through Dayflash’s new collab tools, we reconnected and recently we agreed to collaborate with a great success.” — Oleg Vasilevitsky, Dayflash user @eyecatchingphoto

“Oleg’s photos are awesome. He is known for catching stunning shots of NYC and he wanted to capture movement so he connected with me by liking my collab request on Dayflash, and after seeing his work for a while on Instagram, when he expressed an interest in my collab request on Dayflash, I couldn’t help but want to collaborate with him.” — JP, Dayflash user @officialjpnyc

Be sure to practice social distancing guidelines during your collab — so that you can stay safe

During times like now, if you do decide to meet with another creator for an in-person collab, like JP and Oleg did, then it’s best to continue following your region’s social distancing guidelines, and practice physical distancing throughout your collab, so that you can both stay safe, and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In addition to collaborating with Oleg, JP has also collaborated with Dayflash user Trish Dahal (Dayflash username trish_dahal2 and Instagram username trish_photographer).

“I’m a freelancer photographer. I was originally born and raised in Nepal and I moved to the United States in 2009. I’m currently in college studying visual art photography. I started photography when I was a sophomore in High School. My friend inspired me to get into photography, and after taking classes I realized how much I loved it. ” — Trish Dahal, Dayflash user trish_dahal2

“I hit the like button on JP’s collab request: I edit photos + you take photos: let’s collab. That’s how JP and I got started. JP responded to my collab request, and he then said he’d love to edit my nature photos!” — Trish Dahal, Dayflash user trish_dahal2

While practicing social distancing, photo and video editing collabs can be a great way to collaborate with different creators — and expand your network — all from the comfort and safety of your own home!

Each new collab that you form can help you…
