Dayflash user @fritzphotography (@intl.fritzphotography on Instagram) is a photographer from London, United Kingdom.

“I love pretty things and to photograph my subjects that appear pretty. I was always fascinated by photos but never thought I would be able myself to create nice images. I have a passion for landscape and architecture photography. I made my passion my job and have been doing photography full-time for 6 years now. Originally I am from a pretty and small town in Germany, then lived in Malta for 8 years and just now during the lockdown moved to London.” —Fritz, Dayflash user, @fritzphotography

Dayflash user @karinamosser (@karinamosser on Instagram) is a painter, teacher and art events specialist from Washington, D.C.

“I’m an artist and art teacher from Washington, D.C., however, I grew up in Moscow, Russia and moved to the United States after marrying my husband. I work with a variety of art media to achieve the desired effect. My style of work is mainly semi abstract, but I occasionally enjoy creating dog portraits. I get a lot of inspiration for my paintings from photography , and Dayflash full screen images are particularly helpful!” — Karina Mosser, Dayflash user @karinamosser

Fritz Connected With Karina on Dayflash For The First Time — Simply by Tapping the❤️ Button on One of Karina’s Collab Requests

Fritz: “Just a few days ago I learned about the new collab feature on Dayflash. It makes it so easy to get in touch with other artists and start a collaboration. I am not the best communicator and a bit shy but Dayflash’s collab request feature made it so easy even for an introvert to get started.

When I discovered the paintings by Karina and saw on her profile that she offers to collaborate, it was simple to click the like button and automatically send her a collab request. She was quick in responding and I knew what I would like to try with her paintings. After she sent me the pictures of her paintings I got started and an hour later I sent her back our creation. I used her paintings as skies I shot just the night before in London city. It was actually the first time I went out to the city of London for sunset and stood out until late night. London at lockdown is so quiet.” — Fritz, Dayflash user, @fritzphotography

Karina was notified on Dayflash when Fritz liked her collab request, and then replied with a direct message

Karina: “Dayflash’s collab tools made it very easy to collaborate with @fritzphotography. He reached out to me on Dayflash by tapping on the magic heart button next to my collab request: “photographers: let’s collab on a painting”. We discussed some ideas and came up with the project we both thought will work. He looked through my page on Dayflash and selected a few paintings he thought would work well with the theme. And the next day I received two beautiful images he created. I’m excited to continue using Dayflash’s collab tools to find more new collaborations!” — Karina Mosser, Dayflash user @karinamosser

And, in just a few simple steps, Fritz and Karina discovered that they both shared a mutual interest in collaborating — which is a discovery that may not have ever happened if it wasn’t for Dayflash’s new collab tools.

So, how did this happen?

  1. Fritz noticed Karina’s profile on the Dayflash app, and then tapped the ❤️ button on one of her collab requests: “photographers: let’s collab on a painting”.
  2. Karina got notified that Fritz expressed an interest in her collab request, and then replied by sending him a Direct Message on Dayflash.
  3. Soon after they started chatting, Fritz selected two of Karina’s images, and used his editing skills to combine two of his photographs with Karina’s work: 1) he combined one of his photos with Karina’s painting and 2) he combined one of his photos with Karina’s photo of the sky.

Dayflash is a great place to find inspiration — and to grow your network — while lining up collabs for now (or for later). To line up collabs, simply use Dayflash’s collab tools to find people that you can collaborate with now or later, so that way you can fill up your schedule in advance with multiple collaborations with different people. The more collaborations you can plan, the more you can elevate your game as a creator.

How Can Dayflash’s Collab Tools Elevate Your Game?

Each new collab that you form can help you…

  • reach new audiences on social media (through each other’s audiences),
  • improve your skills and learn new skills (from one another),
  • create more engaging content (that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to create on your own),
  • and attract new opportunities with brands and creators.

@karinamosser and @fritzphotography plan to continue using Dayflash’s new collab tools to more easily find the right people for their next collabs while also using it to grow their network with new people who share their same passion.
