On a bright and windy day by the river you can’t help but notice the happy vibes in the air. It’s one of those moments where you don’t have a care in the world. If only it could always be like this. If only there were a way to hang onto this feeling forever. Perched up on the rock, the little puppy is a perfect expression of everything beautiful and right in the world. That’s when the camera comes out and ‘snap’, victoriously the moment will always be remembered.

Tell us a little background about yourself

“I am a photographer from Camas, Washington. However, unless you’re from here, you probably don’t know where that is. So, I usually just say that I am from Portland, OR. Everyone knows where Portland is.
I specialize in landscapes, residential, and commercial real estate. I’ve shot a bit of everything over the past 10 years, but I got started taking pictures of my cat and two dogs, just like everyone else; then came portraits, weddings, landscapes, and real estate.” — Daniel Stagner, Dayflash user @danielstagner

What do you love most about Dayflash?

“I just love how immersive the Dayflash experience is. It’s full screen and the images look beautiful. The fact that there is no algorithm is just the icing on the cake too. I really think it has the potential to make waves in the social media space for creatives.” — Daniel Stagner, Dayflash user @danielstagner

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Lastly, just some advice for new artists: Don’t let your camera gear hold you back from creating what you want to create. Everyone gets so caught up in the latest and greatest when it really doesn’t matter. My camera is 7 years old and “outdated” by today’s standards but I’m still creating the best work I ever have. The only thing holding you back is you.” — Daniel Stagner, Dayflash user @danielstagner
