A Crown
Of halos.
The Supermoon has arrived so soon
On this special night
And fills my heart and my soul
With pure delight.
The grass is kissed by the moons mist.
Spider’s webs hang in gossamer lace.
The mist is a million molecules
A scene that is impossible to replace.
My eyes take in the moment.
Recapturing many memories
When I was much younger
As more is born between the trees.
I feel the mist on my skin.
A lotion of loquacity
It whispers words I remember.
In words of clear simplicity.
Life rolls on, I watch and wonder.
Raptures crowd my mind.
A place apart from the human race
Free for me to find.
The Supermoon melts my moments.
And ignites my reveries.
Weaving through the grass and ferns
She was then lost up among the trees.
Across the Bay mists disobey
The penetration of the light
And sets the scene in sequins.
In the disappearance of the night.
A crown of halos also
Magnifies the merging mist
A beautiful vision
I find impossible to resist.
