A Moment of Reflection

Total relaxation.

My daughter, Jess. Croatia, June 2024. Private photo.

Leaning on the likelihood,
Fuelled by fixation,
Then she did what she should,
Took total relaxation.

It only took a second,
A moment of reflection,
Until she fully reckoned,
It was total relaxation.

In the swim on a whim,
The sea a brilliant blue
Jess and Chris will never miss,
or even misconstrue.

Swimming here in solitude,
In total relaxation,
A subtle change in attitude,
The happy culmination.

So, they know when they go,
And travel past their mind,
That the seeds that they sow,
Is there for them to find

Names fly by like butterflies,
On a Croatia day,
Tell the truth and save the lies,
These are words we say.

They say it is the season,
For total relaxation,
We don’t even need a reason,
To be led to temptation.

Sent from heaven on a stick,
the season has come again,
Don’t delay we must be quick,
To miss is such a shame.
