Having a sense of belonging
Acceptance and association
Closeness rapport and attachment
Fellowship and affiliation.

These are the ingredients
That fills my heart with joy
And as part of my beginning
I learned when I was a boy.

Collateral I’ve collected
Whilst walking down life’s track
All added to the tapestry
As swift seasons hurry back.

They’ve become part of my being
A part of what I’m allied to
From deep introspection
To a wide and open view.

Part of me belongs to you
Another to the breeze
The love I have for nature
And the beauty in the trees.

Another part dwells within
My anima and spirit of adventure
And stays within my heart and soul
All places that I venture.

Belonging is a rightful place
A place where I always go
And feel at home with me
Someone that I know.

Blown past on the breeze
Two pelicans drift by
The salt sea air and sunshine
Money cannot buy.
