This is the first post for DBHS Code Club’s Python Interest Group. If you haven’t already, join our remind group (text @ccpython to 81010) to receive notifications about new posts. Tomorrow is our first Python workshop, located in the computer lab next to Room 411 (Palisoc).

Just like the other interest groups, we will try meeting in the library about once a month to work together (specifics about these meetings work will be cleared up sometime in November). Additionally, we’ll fill anyone who can’t make whatever it is we do in through these Medium articles.

This interest group is designed to carry you through Python 3 as if you have no experience whatsoever in programming. That being said, if you already have some knowledge in programming in Python and you think the content we are going over is too easy for you, you can simply ignore it until something that interests you comes up. We plan to make each workshop independent to each other.

A workshop recap will be posted soon as the next Medium article. We are using remind to send quick announcements and these articles for more detailed information. Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to fill out this form to subscribe to our Interest Group’s mailing list.
