Presenting at iThome’s SRE Conference: Our DBS SRE Transformation Journey Thus Far
At iThome’s SRE Conference, we shared about our transformation journey and the cool stuff we’ve have been doing.

In April, I was invited to iThome Weekly’s SRE Conference 2022, to share about DBS’ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) transformation journey. iThome Weekly is one of the top IT magazines in Taiwan, averaging a print circulation of 30,000 each issue. Since its establishment in 1997, it has conducted more than 700 interviews with top CIOs in the IT industry in the world.
Our SRE journey began in 2018, and what a long way we’ve come! We started by taking a leaf out of the tech giant’s books, then producing our own suite of SRE software. Earlier this year, we had the chance to stand among the likes of Meta, Google, and Shopify as we shared our SRE story.
I thought it’d be useful to share the recording and allow those interested in learning about how DBS uses SRE in its daily operations.
