Back to the busy!
After a lovely relaxing week exploring the Northumberland coast in the Spring sunshine, it was back to full pedal to the metal this week! I came back to lots of emails and tasks and the week certainly carried on in the same theme!
Mailings, funding events, newsletter, IT issues, website updates, catch up meetings — it has been non-stop but very productive with lots of jobs ticked off the list. The website is up to date and looking good, we are getting a great response to training and events through the mailings and we ran really enjoyable sessions with the National Lottery Community Fund and Greggs Foundation. We appreciate them giving up their time to host these sessions and feedback is always good. I haven't sensed any demand from funders to go back to in-person sessions but I do think face-to-face networking has its place and it is something we should always bear in mind as part of a mix of events.
Looking forward to a weekend of catching up with friends, and loving the lighter mornings and evenings!
