Legoland, licensing and lots of mailings!

Back to work on Monday after a lovely weekend at the Legoland resort near Windsor —the first time we have been and we all loved it! It’s amazing the structures they had made and lots of fun rides and activities — my 8 year old son was over the moon to get his first driving licence! I find these experiences so precious with the children as they are growing up so fast so want to make the most of them!

Another busy week at DCA — the transition from one IT support company to another has been interesting and hopefully everything is now in place; just the licensing to sort and then we are there. Our new company seem very efficient and helpful and we are looking forward to working with them and progressing our IT development.

Another busy week for information going out including the Health and Wellbeing newsletter. We are receiving lots of interesting articles for this which is great and it’s really good to see how much is going on across the county.

We had a virtual funding session on Thursday with quite a high number of no-shows. I think we have learnt this is par for the course with online events but frustrating nonetheless. It was a really useful session too around social investment which is coming to an end in December so hopefully those that attended gained a lot from it.

Looking forward to blowing away the cobwebs with a walk with Isla tomorrow as we continue our training for our Northumberland Coastal Challenge Walk in June!
