New York Establishes Crypto Task Force to Explore Fintech Innovation and Regulation

According to CCN, the state of New York has formed a Cryptocurrency Task Force, following the signing of a digital currency study bill by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The team includes experts in the tech sector, seasoned investors, academic researchers and representatives from blockchain firms. Working in collaboration, the members will explore various topics, including the application and regulation of cryptocurrencies, in order to help New York make full use of fintech innovation while providing sufficient protection for investors. By the end of next year, the task force will complete a report.
