Our SBA, USAID, and DHS work competed against 6,000+ entries from 43 countries.

“Hard work always pays off” is one of our favorite DCG-isms, and we’re thrilled to see it pay off in a big way at the MarCom Awards.

DCG won two MarCom Gold Awards for our U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Small Business Administration (SBA) work, as well as an Honorable Mention for our U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) forced labor video.

The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Over 6,000 entries were submitted from 43 countries, with only approximately 22 percent of those winning gold.

Check out our award-winning work below!

SBA Disaster Assistance — Informational Web Video Gold Award

As part of our work to help SBA engage their audiences on social media, we created a video for small business owners on how to apply for assistance after a disaster.

Our gold-winning video explains how small business owners can apply for assistance after a disaster.

USAID Feed the Future — Social Media Campaign Gold Award

We partnered with Deloitte Digital to support Feed the Future, the U.S. government’s global hunger and food security initiative to give families and communities in some of the world’s poorest countries the freedom and opportunity to lift themselves out of food insecurity and malnutrition.

Together we provide campaign planning and execution, social media creation, digital media management, creative development, and media monitoring to increase awareness around food insecurity.

Our gold-winning social media campaigns focus on the root causes of poverty and hunger.

DHS Forced Labor: What does it look like? — Social Media Video Honorable Mention

As part of our work on the DHS Blue Campaign to combat human trafficking, we created a video to build awareness for identifying forced labor. The International Labour Organization estimates that nearly 25 million people around the globe are in forced labor — our video shines a light on this crime.

Our video explains how to identify forced labor.

The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. The association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and sets standards for excellence.

The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Approximately 22 percent were Gold winners and around 13 percent received Honorable Mentions.

Congrats to our teams for all their great work!
