Thanksgiving day celebration Highlights (Explained in GIF’s)
We at DCKAP take Thanksgiving Day as an opportunity to reflect on things that we are grateful for. Beginning with the clients who believed in our work and welcomed us as their technology partner, to the people who put their heart and soul in each and every work they do.
We have been celebrating Thanksgiving Day for the past three years and every year the celebrations are getting bigger and grander.This year we took deep a dive into things we achieved, lessons learnt and healthy discussions on failures.
Instead of compiling the whole day event into a blog we wanted to share some important highlights of the event.
Leadership + Visionary
Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality
Keeping up to this quote, our Founder and CEO Karthik Chidambaram, briefed about the current financial year’s milestones and challenges. More importantly, he talked about the upcoming year’s products & the company’s road-map.
We had an interesting Q&A session after his presentation. We loved it.
Inspiration
When you ask someone about their failure, common answer would be
“I did not have the required facility or support to achieve my dream”
Yes, we agree to a certain extent that everyone needs a supporting system to make their dreams come true. But the initial push has to come from inside.
One of our keynote speakers Pradeep John is a new age icon. He is a MBA graduate by profession, but weather, particularly predicting the rains, is his passion.
It was such an inspiration to listen his talk on weather patterns, how we should take steps in planning the city for future, kinds of cyclone and more.

Food
We love Food. Period.
A way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. The food won our hearts. It was yummy which made our tummy FULL.
Side note: Few of our peeps were struggling to gain weight for long time. Not anymore, we found the solution.
Dance
Do engineers dance ? Yes.
Do engineers dance really well? YES.
If you have any doubt on corporate employees’ dance skills, you should think again. One of our developers combined bharatanatyam and western music, entertained us with great classical fusion.

Team Goals and Aspirations
Every team presented their achievements in the past year and chalked out a road map for the upcoming year.
And the day ended with a beautiful photo session. Since taking selfie was too mainstream, we went back to the good old group photo days.
