Dcntral Founder (www.dcntral.com) David Allen Cohen and Hashgraph Advisor spoke on the what he calls AI 3.0™ the crossroads where Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, and Cybersecurity meet and how Hashgraph will be used in his roadmap. Other notable companies attending included TechCrunch, LinkedIn, Civic, Cultu.re, Blockchain Capital, Salt Lending, and Filament.
The WCEF event took place over 2 days and covered broad topics on Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in both General and Token Tracks covering topics such as P2P and Decentralized Economies, Decentralized Governance, International Crypto Trends in 2018, and applications such as Cannabis, Real Estate, Finance, and Self-Sovereign Identity. The Token track was dynamic and covered all topics ranging from community and token ecosystem marketing and developments to Influencer marketing, to legal considerations for token generating events. Day 2 covered business and technical tracks in areas such as Identity, Finance, Cross Border Payments, Supply Chain, and Healthcare. Technical tracks covered emerging technologies, Blockchain interoperability, Proof of Stake, payment channels, and IoT.
David spoke on the topic of how the convergence of AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Cybersecurity will transform AI into what he calls AI 3.0 and how AI can be enhanced by the introduction of advanced, next generation consensus algorithms such as Hashgraph in order to provide for fast and fair ordering of asynchronous IoT implementations in edge computing. He also mentioned advanced edge cybersecurity protocols which are being developed by Dcntral under an open source foundation based on an Apache 2.0 license that will launch in Q2 of 2018 under dcntral.org utilizing a patented 10-layer cybersecurity funnel. Dcntral is planning on using Hashgraph in permissioned networks for mission critical and cybersecure IoT networks. He closed with the notion of AI 3.0 and how Hashgraph will help dcntral enable their vision to deliver a next generation platform for cybersecure automated transactions for the Machine Economy with context aware AI, sound governance and standards-based approaches, decentralized learning and action, and adaptive personalities.
